Home Health Care

Personal Care Workers are monitored by a Registered Nurse. Supervisory visits for each client are conducted every 60 days by the R.N. to assure that the Personal Care Worker is performing cares correctly and professionally.

A Personal Care Worker can help you with the following tasks. Specific routines can be adjusted for each person.

  • Bathing
  • Toileting
  • Incontinence Care
  • Skin Care
  • Dental Care
  • Nail Care
  • Medication Reminders
  • Check Vital Signs
  • Assist with Ambulation
  • Assist with Transfers (use of Hoyer lift, gait belt, etc.)
  • Assist with Exercises/Range of Motion
  • Laundry
  • Meal Preparation
  • Assistance with Feeding

A Home Health Aid can provide the following additional services:

  • Post-surgical Care
  • Catheter Care
  • Ostomy Care
  • Skin Care
  • Checking of Vital Signs
